March 28, 2016 On the basis of the “Precarpathian National University named after V. Stefanyk”, a coordination meeting and an international seminar “Ecological education at school” took place within the framework of the TEMPUS IV project “Ecological Education for Belarus, Russia and Ukraine”, which was attended by the teacher of the ecology of our college – Hamburg MV

Participants and organizers of the seminar were congratulated by the rector of the university prof. I.Itsense, The seminar was attended by: Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration – V.Kimakovich,project manager prof. University Paderborn – Vyacheslav Nikitin, Vice-rector of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Education of Medical Professionals – O. Barabash.

Expert of the Ekobru project Y. Bender from the University of Rig reported on eco-schools programs that are already in place in Europe, Asia, about environmental auditing in the school. Niclas Schaper of the University of Paderborn – on the training of teachers of secondary schools in Germany and the introduction of environmental issues at the stage of master’s and pedagogical practice in school. Olena Bender of the University of Paderborn – about the didactic concepts of academic teaching and teaching, about the importance of designing knowledge for the future.

Speakers from the Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian consortiums included and disseminated experience in organizing distance learning in environmental education for students, didactic approaches to environmental research, organization of environmental school camps and environmental paths, as well as other environmental issues of different regions.

The seminar was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the participants discussed topical issues of ecology, in particular, ecological culture, education and law.

Concerns for the education of ecologically conscious young people are today the number one issue, the solution of which depends on the preservation of life and health of not only the nation, but also the inhabitants of all continents.
